A: yeah i sure did! in these trying times online, sometimes you just gotta make a space for yourself. websites, you know. we used to all go to websites. i would have initially made this on neocities, for that authentic diy web experience, but i'm already paying for this, so we're making the most of it. i do have a functioning homegrown neocities site now though!Q: WHY IS YOUR TWITTER^† LOCKED

A: i have a soft spot for pretty much all of the dreamcast era sonic games. there's a sense of fun and ambition in all of them despite their flaws. i also love sonic 06 like an ugly handmade doll. sonic frontiers is also very good. i respect the classics, but i am very much a Dreamcast Sonic guy and not a Classic one.Q: WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO ART
A: to me, art is expression that's bursting to come out of you, and the only way you can express it is by making something with your own hands. sometimes these emotions are so fleeting, that you have to push it out as fast as you can or else you'll lose the zeitgeist. this is why my drawings look like i'm in a terrible hurry, but i enjoy that charm in them. i tend to take a little more time in my music, but i also like to write in long sessions as well. longer stories i have more discipline to work on over time, but i do tend to outline them in a feverish state.Q: WHAT PROGRAMS DO YOU USE FOR "ART"
A: okay so HERE'S an actual faq style faq.
for music: i use garageband. it's simple, feature rich, and logic doesn't offer me anything worth paying $200 for. i have a shure sm58 dynamic mic and an audiotechnica at2020 condenser mic for recording. i don't think i have to go further than that for gearheads.
for art: i use krita on desktop with a viekk tablet; although i inherited an ipad with procreate that i'm trying out and slowly getting better with. i'm not a power user, so krita does what i want it to do without being a resource hog like csp can be (and it works on linux).
for writing: okay i was a heathen writing fanfic in tumblr drafts for a LONG time. i used google docs until i decided i wanted to not be so dependent on the google man. libreoffice i guess? tumblr drafts still? don't take my advice on this
for djing: i use serrato dj lite. i believe we used something like this or similar when i did college radio so it's a little familiar. gotta relearn the ropes though.Q: WHY SHADSY?
A: it's the one that's stuck around the longest. it was the nickname of a favorite rp character back in the day, and since i grabbed it back in 2012^*, it has seemed to stick around me. plus, it's pretty easy to modify if it happens to be taken. (hence supershadsy)Q: TELL ME ABOUT YOUR CATS
A: i have two tuxedo cats and they're perfect babies. one of them says "wow" all the time and Needs To Be Involved in whatever's going on, and the other one sounds like a malnourished victorian child when she meows outside my bedroom door at 4 AM. i've never had cats before this! but I Love Them So Much
